Dhanush’s 50th film, which is also his second directorial venture, went on floors on July 5. The film is a multi-starrer and has actors like SJ Suryah, Kalidas Jayaram, Sundeep Kishan, Aparna Balamurali and Dushara Vijayan in its cast.
Now, we hear that Anikha Surendran, who was seen as a child actress in films like Yennai Arindhaal and Viswasam, and has now turned heroine with the Telugu film Butta Bomma, will also be part of the cast. A source tells us, “Anikha will be portraying a pivotal role alongside Dhanush in the film, and Dushara Vijayan will be seen playing his sister.”
The film’s story, we are told, is set against a North Chennai backdrop, and will revolve around the lives of brothers.
