Angana Roy who was last seen in Mahabalipuram, has been roped to play a crucial role in
7 Naatkal
. The film which marks the debut directorial venture of Gautham VR, a former assistant to Sundar C, has Shakthi and Nikesha Patel playing the lead roles.
A source says, 'The thriller flick which has an equal dose of action and comedy, will have its story revolving around the character played by Angana. Veteran actors Nasser and Prabhu have also been brought on board to essay pivotal characters.' MS Prabhu cranks the camera, while Vishal Chandrasekhar composes the music. 7 Naatkal, which is produced by Karthik and Karthikeyan, will commence its shooting on May 11 in the city, followed by a schedule in Puducherry later.
