Director Vetrimaaran last delivered the blockbuster film 'Asuran' with Dhanush, and the director has teamed up with actor Soori for his next. Before 'Asuran', Vetrimaaran had directed 'Vada Chennai' starring Dhanush in the lead role, and the film also had Andrea Jeremiah in an important role. Vetrimaaran has produced some popular movies like 'Udhayam NH4', 'Poriyalan', 'Kaakka Muttai', 'Kodi', 'Annanukku Jai' and others.The director last produced ''Miga Miga Avasaram' in association with Suresh Kamatchi, and the film received positive reviews from the critics. Now, it is being said that Vetrimaaran will be producing a film under his banner Grass Root Production, and the film will have Andrea Jeremiah in the lead role, with actress Viji Chandrasekar in an important role. The story of the film will revolve around the female lead, and the shooting of the film was expected to start from May 2020.
