After reports that actor Vijay Sethupathi might be playing the son of Nasser in Kamal Haasan's 'Thalaivan Irukkindraan', which is said to be the sequel of his 1992 blockbuster Thevar Magan, the latest buzz is about the heroines in the film. Speculations are that actress Andrea Jeremiah and Pooja Kumar who worked with Kamal in 'Vishwaroopam' and 'Uthama villain' have been roped in to play the female lead in the film.

The film will be jointly produced by Raaj Kamal films International in association with Subaskaran of Lyca Productions. While Vaigai Puyal Vadivelu has been roped into the film already, it is also said that actres Revathi has been retained from the original film as well. An official clarification on the cast and crew is expected soon.
