Anaika lands an RGV film in a lift

The other heroine, apart from Vedhika, in Vasanthabalan���s Kaaviya Thalaivan is Anaika. Ask her what it means to have landed a role in this period movie, which will have actors Prithviraj and Siddharth as male leads, the actress says, ���I am happy to have bagged a film in south as I have always been a great fan of south films. I am playing a young princess in Kaaviya Thalaivan.���
Anaika is also RGV���s leading lady in his upcoming film Sathya 2, which will be Naanthaanda in Tamil.As to how she bagged this role, Anaika has an interesting story to narrate. ���I would have never entered films had I not met Ram Gopal Varma in a lift. That was the luckiest day of my life. I was leaving from my friend���s place, and just as I entered the lift, who should I see in it? Yes, it was RGV! He smiled at me and asked me if I was interested in films. He also told me that I would look good on screen. And then without mincing any words, he asked me straightaway if I would act in his film. I was bowled over by his straight talk. At the time, I was just a college student, and knew I couldn���t get anything bigger in films than landing a role in RGV���s Hindi film. I was not even auditioned for my role in Sathya 2,��� she shares.
She adds, ���I am playing a bubbly teenager in Sathya 2 (Naanthaanda in Tamil). It is basically a rural character. Right now I would like to take up young enthusiastic characters that suit my age.���
