An event to felicitate the stuntmen

Stuntmen are the unsung heroes of the film industry in India. And what better than an event to felicitate the brave hearts? Well-known choreographer

Kala Master

is organising an event that will mark the Golden Jubilee celebration of the stunt union of the South industry. Giving us more information, Kala Master says, “This will be a grand event that will see top actors from all four South industries. We have invited everyone from Rajinikanth to Kamal Haasan and all the actors are more than happy to be part of the event. There has never been an event that only focused on the stuntmen and this will be one of a kind. None of the actors could have done films if not for the stuntmen. They handle all the danger effortlessly and make sure the scenes look perfect. We have had several stunt masters who have given us fantastic films and this will be a tribute to all of them. In fact we have also lost a few men during shooting. We have a general misconception that stuntmen are very rowdy. They are actually very sweet and blindly follow the instructions given by directors.”

As for the performers, we are told that top actresses, including Kajal Aggarwal, Aishwariya Rajesh and Taapsee Pannu will be a part at the event. “We want to keep the names of the performers a secret. All we can say is that this will be a big event and we are waiting for

, who has been part of the Tamil industry for several years, says, “I have been part of the industry for several years, and this is the first time an event of this sort is being organised for our community. In fact, people have been working for the event for the past six months. The event will also feature live stunt shows, bike and car stunts, etc. Stunt men of our industry have always tried to be on par with Hollywood, if not better them. Each day, we try and improve our techniques and take more risks.”

Aishwariya Rajesh who will be performing at the event, says, “I’m very glad that I will be part of this event and I am quite excited about my performance. These days stuntmen take a lot of risk to give us mind-boggling action sequences. They put their lives in danger for the sake of movies. This event will be a salute to them.”
