Amy Jackson hits out at slaughterhouses after workers test positive for Covid-19
As an increasing number of workers at slaughterhouses across the world test positive for Covid-19, Amy Jackson lashed out at slaughterhouses and called them breeding ground for diseases.
The actress shared on her micro-blogging page, “Wet markets, slaughterhouses, meat factories - these places are breeding grounds for disease in so many different forms! Oh & just a littleee inconsiderate (or perhaps VERY well thought out) with your choice of words @BBCNews ‘processing PLANTS?’ I think you mean MEAT FACTORIES.” The news report said that workers in America, Spain, Germany, France and England too were tested positive for Covid-19.

She added that slaughter houses and wet markets were houses of horror. “Cold, wet, poor ventilation... ideal for animals though right??? How are they still defending the revolting truth about abattoirs and what goes on behind those walls. They’re filthy disease ridden houses of horror #covid in #abbatoirs.” It is to be noted that Amy Jackson is an ambassador of the animal welfare organization, PETA.
