' directed by Atlee’s shoot is progressing at a fast pace and that that the film’s song montages are being shot today at Gokulam Studios in Chennai. The latest is that, actress
Amritha Aiyer of Kaali & Padaiveeran fame has joined the star cast that includes Nayanthara as the heroine and Reba Monica John, Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Daniel Balaji, Vivekh, Yogi Babu and Anand Raj in important roles.
With the leaked stills from the shooting spot so far, it is speculated that Vijay plays the coach of a women's football team, which includes Indhuja, Reba Monica John and Varsha Bollama amongst others. Actress Amritha has joined Thalapathy 63 as one of the football players, and recently started shooting.
It is also reported that last Tuesday was Amritha's birthday, and after knowing this, Vijay had surprised her by ordering a cake. Amritha had celebrated her birthday at Thalapathy 63 sets with the team.
Produced by AGS Entertainment, the film’s music is by AR Rahman. GK Vishnu, who handled the cinematography of Vijay-starrer Mersal under Atlee’s direction, is the cameraman for Thalapathy 63, too.
