Alphonse Puthren waiting for Vijay's call to do a film

Director Alphonse Puthren, who made his debut with the Tamil-Malayalam bilingual movie 'Neram' in 2013, rose to fame with his second film 'Premam' starring Nivin Pauly and Sai Pallavi. While the young director is currently working on two Malayalam films, fans have always been asking him about his next film in Tamil. One his fans recently asked the director to do a film with Kollywood star Vijay.
Alphonse Puthren took to his official Facebook handle to share the lyrical video titled ‘Jolly O Gymkhana’ from the upcoming Vijay – Nelson Dilipkumar film ‘Beast’. One of the fans mentioned Alphonse Puthren to do a romantic film with Thalapathy Vijay.
Responding to a fan's request to do a love story film with Thalapathy Vijay, director Alphonse Puthren said "Thalapathy was the first to call me from Tamil Nadu after Premam release, through his manager and producer Jagadeesh. I have met Thalapathy Vijay sir personally once. Hoping one day he will call me, to do a film. I'm waiting."
Fans of both Thalapathy Vijay and director Alphonse Puthren would be equally excited if the two them come together for a project.
