Alexander Babu on Ayurveda and recovering from COVID-19
Standup comedian and actor Alexander Babu revealed his journey battling the coronavirus recently, further throwing light on the significance of Ayurveda in his journey.
On Tuesday, Alexander posted pictures of him performing Yoga after 25 days. In a Twitter thread, he revealed how he chose to take the Ayurvedi path to recover from the coronavirus. "Me back on yoga mat after 25 days! Folks, I got the the world famous Covid-19 a few weeks ago. Now recovered. I home-quarantined myself," he began in the post, adding that while the days of fever was exhausting, he is completely ok now.
"The high fever lasted for a week. I did not develop other symptoms (breathlessness, loss of taste/smell). The fever days were indeed exhausting. God’s grace, all is well now," he said, going on to add, "We debated about sharing this on social media. Social stigma was one reason for not sharing. Then we felt that’s one strong reason for sharing. Hence, sharing. Covid is a virus. Stay safe! But, if you get it, give the right care to yourself and all will be well. Cheers!"
He will next be seen in Madhavan and Shraddha Srinath starrer 'Maara'.
