Ajmal returns as a lead with a multi-genre film

After playing supporting characters in a few films, actor

is now back as the lead in

Second Show

, a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. The film revolves around five friends, with four going from Chennai to London to meet the fifth one, and the adventure that follows, with a significant portion of the film set in London.

“The first half will be a fun film, with romance and comedy, but in the second half, the film will turn into a horror thriller,” informs Ajmal, who plays a guy who is open to doing anything for a friend.

Puja Mondal

, a beauty pageant contestant, and Pallavi Subhash, a Sri Lankan actress, will be part of the gang of five friends. Vidya Pradeep of Thadam fame will be seen in a crucial role,” reveals Ajmal, who adds that LK Vijay, who shot Kulir 100o, has been roped as the cinematographer.

Hemal, Black Pandi and choreographer Sai Krish are also part of the cast of this film, which is directed by AT Gnanam. “We will be going on floors in the first week of October. It will be a Hollywood-style film,” assures Ajmal.
