Ajith starrer 'Thunivu' is just two days away from its grand theatrical release and the film has occupied a record number of screens despite the clash with Vijay's 'Varisu'. The booking for both films has been high and both are set to open big at the box office. Now, Ajith's 'Thunivu' release day poster has been revealed. Ajith will be spotted with a bloodied face in the release date poster of 'Thunivu', and the surprise has been revealed by fans on social media. The release date poster of 'Thunivu' in Ajith with bloodied face once again confirms that it's going to be a ruthless villain role from the lead actor this time. Ajith and his team will be involved in a bank robbery in 'Thunivu' and it seems like there is a surprise behind their action. Manju Warrier will be seen on Ajith's side, but the duo will not have any romantic sequences as confirmed by the director H Vinoth.

Samuthirakani, Veera, John Kokken, Ajay, and GM Sundar play key roles in the film, while Ghibran scores music for Ajith for the first time in 'Thunivu'. Meanwhile, the 'Thunivu' special screening happened yesterday (Jan 8) in Chennai and it was attended by Ajith's wife Shalini and some other close ones of the team. 'Thunivu' FDFS is to open at 1 AM IST on Jan 11 ahead of Vijay's 'Varisu', which will be opening at 4 AM IST on the same day.
