Last year, actor Ajith's residence in Injambakkam in the city received a fake bomb threat through the police control room. Now again yesterday on May 31, an anonymous person has issued a bomb threat to the actor's house.
Following the bomb threat call, police officials have begun investigations. As per reports, an anonymous call was made to the police control room on may 31 and stating about the bomb in
Ajith's home.
It is reported that the threats were fake made by anonymous miscreant. The details of the anonymous call is expected to be tracked at the earliest.
Interestingly, this is not the first time the 'Valimai' actor's residence had received such a threat. Before last year's fake call, back in 2014, a bomb threat from an unknown number was reported to the police control room by Ajith’s staff. But it turned out to be a hoax call. A similar incident happened in 2017 as well at Ajith's house, when around 15 police personnel landed at Ajith's residence and thoroughly searched the place before declaring the threat a hoax.
Looks like the pranksters are working overtime during this lockdown due to the coronavirus. Many k-town celebrities like Rajinikanth, Vijay and Ajith received bomb threats formerly in 2020.
