Ajith qualifies for the next round of Shooting Championship

The 45th Tamil Nadu State Shooting Championship which is underway in Coimbatore got a dash of stardom as Thala Ajith participated in the 10 metre air rifle and 50 metre free pistol category. The icing on the cake is that the actor qualified for the next round. The actor represented the Chennai Rifle Club.
Pictures of the actor went viral on social media and soon fans thronged the venue to catch a glimpse of the star.However, the venue was cordoned off as the authorities didn’t want the participants to get disturbed due to the commotion. Thala, who arrived in style, waved at the participants, much to their delight. Some of them also managed to get pictures with the actor. Fans, who didn’t want to miss their star, followed him up to his hotel. The event is on till August 3rd.
It was not long ago that pictures of Ajith practicing rifle shooting at the Chennai Rifle Club had gone viral. It was assumed that shooting was only a hobby, but it looks Thala is indeed serious about it. Ajith is also into car racing and the Madras Institute of Technology had appointed the actor as its Helicopter Test Pilot and UAV System Adviser. His brainchild, the drone named Daksha had reportedly created a record for flying non-stop for 6 hours and 7 minutes.
On the film front, Ajith is awaiting the release of Nerkonda Paarvai, which is directed by H Vinoth. The film is a remake of the Hindi flick, Pink.
