Ajith Kumar's team 'Daksha' signs a contract with the Indian Army of supplying 200 drones worth Rs. 165 crore

Ajith Kumar is an automobile enthusiast, and being one of the actors who possesses a pilot license, the actor is also interested in aeronautical engineering. A couple of years back, Ajith mentored a group of students from Anna University, and they created the drone 'Daksha', which helped the government maintain sanitization in sensitive areas around the country during the pandemic in 2020. The group was mentored by Ajith Kumar to make the drone, and the students belonged to the aeronautical group of the college.


The drone earlier won a global competition, and now it has reached a new height. The team of 'Daksha' drones has now reportedly signed a contract with the Indian army and will be supplying 200 drones, which is worth Rs 165 crore.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ajith was last seen in the Tamil film 'Thunivu, and he will now be shooting for his next film, 'Vidaamuyarchi, which is directed by Magizh Thirumeni. The film is said to go on sale in September, soon after the actor completes his latest bike tour. "Ride for Mutual Respect." The music for the film will be composed by Anirudh Ravichadner, and it is suspected that actress Trisha will be playing the female lead in the movie. Reports also suggest that actors Arjun and Arjun Das will be part of the film's cast.
