Ajith Kumar thanks Tamil Nadu government for promoting car racing, heads to Portugal

Ajith Kumar has expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Tamil Nadu government for organizing the car racing event held in Chennai. The 'Vidaamuyarchi' actor recently participated in the 24-hour car racing competition in Dubai with his team, where they secured third place in one of the categories and won a trophy. Following this, Ajith Kumar gave an interview to Gulf News in Dubai. In the interview, he thanked his fans and the government for supporting his car racing efforts. He mentioned that the Tamil Nadu government has been working towards promoting car racing, especially through the state's sports department, which is actively encouraging car racing events.

Ajith Kumar also extended his thanks to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin and Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin for their support, highlighting how the government's efforts are contributing to the development of car racing and generating enthusiasm in India. At the same time, he praised car racing champions like Karthik Narain and Karun, who have made significant achievements internationally.

Ajith Kumar has moved to Portugal to participate in the upcoming 'Southern European Porsche Sprint Series 2025'. This event is specifically designed for car racers in the Southern European region. The competition will take place over two days in Spain and Portugal, with each race lasting 6 hours. With a maximum of 30 cars allowed to race, this series promises to be a fierce and exciting contest, attracting passionate fans and competitors from across the globe. For car racing aficionados, this event is not just a race; it's a unique opportunity to witness the excitement and challenge of high-speed motorsport at its finest.
