In June, there were speculations that actor-choreographer
Prabhudeva will be teaming up with
director Kalyan
for a comedy flick. The duo had earlier worked together in a film titled Gulaebaghavali. Now, we hear that the shoot of their new project has already begun and
Aishwarya Rajesh has been roped in to play the female lead.
A source close to the team confirmed that the film went on floors this Friday, in Puducherry. “Important sequences featuring Prabhudeva and Aishwarya Rajesh will be shot on the outskirts of Puducherry for the next 10 days. An official announcement regarding the entire cast and crew will be made soon.”
Meanwhile, Prabhudeva has completed shooting for his portions in flashback and the film is ready for release. While he’s waiting for the release of his upcoming psycho-thriller,
Bagheera
, he is also working on
Santhosh P Jayakumar
’s Poikkal Kuthirai, which stars
Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and
Raiza Wilson.
