After Tamannaah, Kajal Aggarwal in 'Queen' remake

The Tamil remake of the Hindi blockbuster and award-winning film

Queen

has been in the news for a long time. It was said that actress Revathi will wield the megaphone for the movie in Tamil while the Kannada remake will be directed by Ramesh Arvind. Now, it is learnt that Ramesh Arvind will direct the Tamil remake too. It has to be noted that Ramesh had earlier directed movies like Kamal Haasan’s Uthamavillian.

It’s also revealed that the makers have now approached Kajal Aggarwal to play the role

did in the original. Earlier Tamannaah was supposed to be essaying the role and she had opted out of it. Amy Jackson will play the role essayed by Lisa Haydon in all the south language remakes. Amala Paul will be the heroine in the Malayalam remake.
