After Pizza, it's The Villa

The success of Pizza, a film by a debutant director with no big stars, has got its makers thinking of another subject along the same lines. Producer C V Kumar, whose production house was behind the thriller, will now be making a film titled The Villa as a franchise.
When contacted, C V Kumar said, 'Yes, we're planning to make a film titled The Villa.While it will not be a sequel to Pizza, it's more like a franchise, like how Kaanchana followed Muni. We will be going on floors by the first of April. We will announce the cast and crew soon.'
It looks like Karthik Subburaj, who helmed Pizza, will not be part of this film. The director told TOI, 'I'm not part of the franchise. Currently, I'm busy with the preproduction of an action flick.' Karthik has also expressed his desire to direct the Hindi remake of Pizza being done by Bejoy Nambiar.
