After almost 35 years, Sankarabharanam to release in Tamil

One of the biggest hits of 1979, K Viswanath���s Telugu film Sankarabharanam, is all set to release in Tamil now. The film, which stars Somayajulu, Manju Bhargavi and Chandra Mohan in the lead, had won several awards in both Indian and international forums. It���s also said to be one of the few films to have directly released in Tamil Nadu and created magic at the BO.
A source says, ���After almost 35 years of its release, the film is getting dubbed in Tamil and will be released with the same title, in a digitized and colour-corrected format. K V Mahadevan had composed the original score, and Raviraghav has given the numbers a new twist for the Tamil version. The film will start with a card that thanks the ace director Viswanath for directing such a gem of a film.���
