, which has GV Prakash Kumar and Sarath Kumar in the lead roles. Directed by debutant Shanmugam Muthusamy, the action film has Surabhi (of Ivan Vera Maathiri fame) as the female lead. 'This character is that of a north Indian, and I was looking for someone who isn't too slim or curvy, nor too young or old for this role. I follow Mandira on social media, and when I saw those pictures, I knew she would be the right one for the role. Even she was surprised when I met her to narrate the story, and asked, 'How did you think of me for such a role?',' says the director.

Shanmugam also reveals that Mandira will not be Sarath Kumar's pair. 'Both the actors do not have a pair in the film. Sarath sir will be seen as a politician,' he says. The actor will be sporting a bearded look, and the director informs that Sarath even chose to stay in this look and refused to shave it off for Rayane's recent wedding.
