Adanga Maru preview: Jayam Ravi thriller looks to meet expectations

Actor Jayam Ravi’s next film ‘Adanga Maru’ is all set to hit screens on December 21. Directed by debutant Karthik Thangavel, the film will see Jayam Ravi sporting the cop role yet again in his career. This is the third time the versatile actor will be wearing khakhi after ‘Thani Oruvan’ and ‘Bogan’. The trailer of the film has given away a few details and it looks like the plot of the film revolves around an upright cop fighting the evil and the flawed justice system. The trailer also shows Jayam Ravi taking the side of the people instead of listening to the senior officers in the police department.

The film has Raashi Khanna playing the female led. After a brief role in Nayanthara’s thriller ‘Imaikaa Nodigal’, where she romanced Adharvaa, Raashi will be seen playing a full time female lead, as Jayam Ravi’s wife in this film. The music for the film has been scored by Sam CS. The young music director grabbed attention with his spectacular BGM and songs in ‘Vikram Vedha’. The juke box of ‘Adanga Maru’ has also received good response from the audience. Touted to be a thriller, the film looks to meet high expectations of the audience.
