The buzz in the industry is that veteran actress Urvasi is all set to join the cast of
Suriya’s
Soorarai Pottru
, which is directed by Irudhi Suttru fame
Sudha Kongara. The film is said to be inspired by the life of Air Deccan founder Captain GR Gopinath.
While Suriya is playing the lead, Sarvam Thaala Mayam actress
Aparna Balamurali, will be seen playing the female lead. The rest of the star cast includes Mohan Babu, Karunas, Jackie Shroff and Paresh Rawal. The cinematography is handled by Niketh Bommireddy while music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar
Interestingly, some action sequences of this film were shot during the first schedule in Chandigarh under the supervision of international stunt choreographer Greg Powell, who is known for his work in films such as Skyfall and Bourne Ultimatum.
In the meantime, Suriya is awaiting the release of Kaappaan, which is said to hit the screens by September 20th.
