While Karthi has been sporting a rugged look in most of his films, right from his debut Paruthiveeran, like Rajinikanth, he shaved off his moustached and sported a clean-shaven look for his guru's Kaatru Veliyidai. Now, after six years, the actor has shared a pic of him sporting a clean-shaven look. Though he hasn't mentioned if it is for any film, it is being speculated that this might be one of his looks in his upcoming Sardar.

While he usually appears sporting a beard in his films, Vijay Sethupathi got a suave new look in Naanum Rowdydhaan, in which he played a lover boy, who is madly in love with Nayanthara's character. Not only did this new look look convincing on the actor, it also managed to knock off a years off him onscreen.

The moustache is a key part of Rajinikanth's charisma in the Superstar's early years. But he chose to take off his beard in the comedy classic Thillu Mullu, which was directed by his guru K Balachander. As a man who was acting as twin brothers, Rajinikanth managed to impress everyone not only with his performance in these two roles, but also with his two looks.
