Actor Unnikirshnan Namboothiri dies at 98

Actor Unnikrishnan Namboothiri, who had recently recovered completely from COVID-19, passed away in a hospital. The 98 year old actor, who has acted in numerous movies and is known in Tamil for his roles in films like Kandukondain Kandukondain, Pammal K. Sambandam and Chandramukhi, passed away at the hospital in Payyanur. Unnikrishnan Namboothiri is the father-in-law of lyricists and actor Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri.
Earlier last week, the 98 year old actor who has acted in numerous movies and was under treatment at a private hospital in Kannur had recovered from COVID-19.He was discharged and his healthy lifestyle was said to have helped him defeat COVID-19 and recover quickly.
Unnikrishnan had recovered completely and hads been discharged after testing negative for Coronavirus. Initially he was rushed to a private hospital in Kannur after suffering from pneumonia, but tested negative for COVID-19 at that time. But a couple of days after being discharged following his recovering from pneumonia, he was apparently admitted in hospital again due to fever and tested positive for coronavirus this time around.
