Actor Rajasekhar passes away

Actor, producer and director Rajasekhar passed away in Chennai today. The actor, we hear, was admitted to a private hospital due to ill health where he breathed his last. Rajasekhar along with Robert (the duo was popularly known as Robert-Rajasekar) has made some extremely popular movies like Palaivana Solai, Paravaigal Palavitham, Chinnapoove Mella Pesu and Manasukkul Mathappu to name a few. Rajasekhar also appeared in the hit number, Ithu Oru Pon Maalai Pozhuthu, from the film Nizhalgal (1980) directed by Bharathiraja. Music was by Ilaiyaraaja.Rajasekhar appeared in many television soaps like Saravanan Meenakshi and Thendral. Palavanai Solai was considered one of his most popular works. The film fraternity took to social media to pay their tributes to the actor, director and producer.
