Captain Miller, directed by Arun Matheswaran, is one of Dhanush’s much anticipated films. Production for this action film, set in the 1940s, commenced in August last year, and it is now nearing completion. Sources confirm that actor Daniel Balaji, who was supposed to play an important role in the film, has opted out of the film due to differences with the team.
A source, who is in the loop, said, “Daniel was supposed to shoot for his portions last year. But the team kept postponing his dates until April this year. Since it became tough for him to give dates for other projects, he decided to opt out of the film. ”
Daniel Balaji’s portions are now being shot with another actor. Recently, there were also speculations that the makers were planning to make Captain Miller a trilogy. However, there’s no official confirmation on it yet.
