Abhay Deol is Sivakarthikeyan's villain in Hero

Bollywood actor Abhay Deol has been roped in to play the antagonist's role in Sivakarthikeyan's Hero, which is directed by PS Mithran of Irumbu Thirai fame. The film also has Arjun in an important role with Kalyani Priyadarshan making her Tamil debut as the female lead. Hero will mark Abhay Deol's second film in Tamil after the yet-to-be released fantasy film Idhu Vedhalam Sollum Kathai, starring Ashwin Kakumanu and Aishwarya Rajesh. He is said to be playing King Vikramadityan in the film. The actor had learnt Tamil to play the role since the team was shooting with live sound, and it looks like he might speak his own lines in Hero as well. Hero, which went on floors in March earlier this year, is being produced by Kotapadi Rajesh, the producer of Aramm and the distributor of Viswasam.
