Aathmika moves to a safe place after being stranded due to Chennai floods

Earlier yesterday, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and K-town actor Vishnu Vishal along with his wife and Indian badminton player Jwala Gutta were rescued by the rescue team from their home in Karapakkam. While actress Aathmika was also stranded in the same area, the pretty actress seems to have moved to a safe place earlier today.

Sharing the update, Aathmika wrote, "Finally moved to a safe place now. Thank you for every soul who checked on my well being. This is also to bring to notice there is still no electricity, food, mobile network, drinking water available in #karapakkam especially in remote areas!!"


"Much appreciation for all frontline workers who are religiously working in rescue operation. Hoping we should never face such situation again , let us collectively work towards the betterment in whatever ways possible!! #Spiritifchennai #ChennaiFloodRelief," she added.

Earlier in the afternoon yesterday, Aathmika shared a picture and video of her surrounding area flooded with water, from the terrace of her house. She wrote, "Water not subsiding at my area #karapakkam. No electricity, network and water for consumption. Hope this reaches the concerned officials!! Able to connect a bit of network only in terrace!! Praying for everyone’s safety ����"


Luckily, the young actress, who was last seen in Arulnithi-starrer 'Thiruvin Kural', has moved to safe location from her home. Chennai and other neighbouring cities have been flooded by rainwater as cyclone Michuang stormed the region heavily on December 4. Even though more than half areas have returned to normalcy, some regions are still flooded by rainwater, and people are forced to be inside their houses.
