Aari to lose 10kg for his mythological

Actor Aari, who has films like Aleka and Ellam Mela Irukkravan Pathupan, has begun shooting for his next, which will be a mythological film. The untitled film will be directed by S Kalingan, who has worked as a co-director on films like Endrendrum Punnagai and Richie.
“We very rarely get films in this genre, and I was instantly hooked by the director’s script.All our myths are stories that we have been told since ages, but this film is about the stuff that these myths that might have hidden from us,” says Aari.
The actor will be losing weight to play this role. “I had put on some weight for some of the films that I was working on, so I’ve chosen to lose 10kg for this film as you need a great physique to be convincing in a mythological film,” he explains.
Pujita Ponnada, who has acted in a few Telugu films, including Rangasthalam, has been roped in to play the female lead while Yog Japee will be seen in a key role. Muruga Saravanan, who has worked on films like Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru and #Thalapthy64, which is currently on floors, will be shooting this film while Yaagavarayinum Naa Kaaka composer Prasan will be the music director.
