The team met the Police Commissioner in Chennai and lodged a complaint the same. A copy of the letter is being circulated on social media. The statement reads, “Post the release of the movie we could see lot of websites, telegram groups and torrent sites are illegally uploading our content online. We are the rightful owner of the digital rights and we haven’t sold our rights to any company or individual.”
The statement adds, “Our movie is welcomed by the family audience and these illegal activities are hurting our box office collections and would affect not only me as a producer and the people toiled hard to bring out a movie which would be liked and accepted by the general public.
The activity on a longer run affects the millions of people who work in this film industry and their livelihood.”Aanandham Vilayadum Veedu released on December 24. The film is directed by
