Aaditi Pohankar, Preity Mukhundhan to pair up with Kavin in Elan’s film

Bollywood actress Aaditi Pohankar and model-actress Preity Mukhundhan have been roped in to play the female leads in Kavin’s new film Star, which is directed by Elan of Pyaar Prema Kaadhal fame.

“I loved Aaditi in the OTT series She, created by Imtiaz Ali, and Aashram, directed by Prakash Jha, in which her performances were terrific, and felt she would be perfect for our film,” states Elan.This will be the second Tamil film for terrific Aaditi, who had previously acted as one of the female leads in Atharvaa’s 2017 romcom Gemini Ganeshanum Suruli Raajanum.

As for Preity, who has been part of music videos like Muttu Mu2 earlier, Elan adds, “The character is that of a young woman, and I wanted a newcomer for this role.”
