The shooting of Vaibhav’s next, the yet-to-be-titled project, which has debutant
SG Charles at the helm was happening at a brisk pace at a three-storey building in
Alapakkam
, near Porur. The crew, including assistant directors and camera operators, were busy making arrangements for a tracking shot as it required the camera to zoom in on
Vaibhav as soon as he enters
Vani Bhojan’s house. The actor plays a cop for the first time in the movie, which according to Charles, will have a non-linear narration from the perspective of the multiple characters in it.
He says, “This is a romantic scene in which Vani invites Vaibhav to her home when she’s all alone. Every character has an important role to play, and the story is presented not just from the point of view of the lead artiste, but by almost everyone. There are a few scenes in which CG portions are crucial to the movie.”
“Apart from the main artistes, there are two children who will be seen in interesting roles. One of them is an athlete, and sports is an integral element in the film,” adds Charles.
Santhanam Sekhar
, with whom the director has worked in short films, cranks the camera for the movie while Anand Geraldin is handling the editing. Miracle Michael has choreographed the action scenes in the movie, the shooting of which is almost complete. Arrol Corelli has been roped in as the music composer.
I play an upright cop who has a smart thinking process. But the character has negative shades to it. I’m currently shooting for a scene where my negative traits are established uncompromisingly. The movie has come out well and I’m looking forward to it.
— Venkat Prabhu, Actor
The film is special for me as I play a police constable for the first time. after acting under his direction, I’m acting with Venkat Prabhu in this. He, too, is a cop and plays my senior — there’s a cat-and-mouse sort of sequence between our characters. Our ego clash is one of the interesting elements in the film.
—Vaibhav, actor
I play Vaibhav’s love interest though the movie doesn’t have much scope for romance, thanks to the serious theme it deals with! I was impressed with the uniqueness of the script. Needless to say, a set which has Venkat Prabhu and Vaibhav, is full of fun and we have been having a stress-free schedule.
— Vani Bhojan, actress
This is my second production. I immensely loved the script as I felt it is different from the regular thrillers which we have seen in recent times. We have a strong crew and I’m confident of the film becoming a success.
— Nithin Sathya, producer
I’m happy that I’m getting roles that have scope to perform. In this film, I play Mallika, a mother to a teenager, something which is quite challenging. This is the first time I play a character that is quite older than my real self. In fact, I don’t know how it is to be the mother of a teenager and hence, I found it interesting.
