A thriller film that has a strong social message
After making a suspense film, Ennamo Nadakkudhu, director Rajapandi is back with yet another thriller titled,
Talking about the film, he says, Vijay Vasanth is a pickpocket, Srushti plays an MBA graduate and Samuthirakani plays a police officer. Though they are not related to each other, all the three of them have a common enemy. Thats when they come together in order to chase the enemy. But little do they know that hes not the person they are looking for. And there comes a twist!
Unlike the usual message films, Rajapandi says that he has tried to convey the message differently. It is a thriller with a social message. But I am not trying to advise people. There will be a debate in the film about our education system... and that pretty much highlights what I want to tell people through my film. I have been reading several articles about our system. There is a lot of tension when it comes to our education system. And that triggered me to write a film on this subject, he says. Most of the film was shot in Chennai and Pollachi. I wanted to cast Vijay Vasanth for his boy-next-door looks. Samuthirakani, who has been acting in several dialogue-heavy films, has given a subtle performance. He has minimal dialogues and there is a mature love portion that we have explored. And Saranya maam, for a change, will not be playing an amma role. Her role will be a surprise.

. The film, which stars Samuthirakani, Vijay Vasanth, Srushti Dange and Saranya Ponvannan in the lead, questions the educational system in our country. Ask him about his love for thrillers and he says, I am a huge fan of political subjects and spy thrillers. I like films like The Bourne Ultimatum... I havent achieved even 5 per cent of what I intend to do with these genres. Nevertheless, it is a subject thats close to my heart.Unlike the usual message films, Rajapandi says that he has tried to convey the message differently. It is a thriller with a social message.
