With elections around the corner and celebs urging people to vote, director Susi Easwar���s next Inaiya Thalaimurai touches on the same subject. Talking about the film, Susi says, ���It is primarily a love story. But we wanted to include a social message without making it look like a documentary. It is a college subject where we show college elections in the film. Through this, we have impressed upon people to vote. We have also shown the drawbacks of not voting. It will not be too serious, but at the same time, we have effectively communicated the message, too.���
The film stars Ashwin Kumar of Tourin Talkies fame and Manisha Jith, a child artiste, who has done nearly 50 films. ���We have primarily shot the film in Chennai, Rajapalayam and Sivakasi.���
