Singer-composer Shaan Rahman promises to rock the screen with a new number for director Deepak Dev's next
Not long ago, composer Deepak Dev told Kochi Times that he'd die for a voice like Shaan's. And now, for the third time in a row, composer-singer Shaan Rahman has teamed up with Deepak for a song in the upcoming flick, Padmasree Bharat Dr Saroj Kumar.
"Deepak is one composer who acknowledges my limitations as a singer.

And he makes tunes that suit my voice," says Shaan, who gave two super hits Vadakku Vadakku in Urumi and Hey Baby in Tejabhai and Family under Deepak Dev's music baton. "Our new song is what you would call an inspirational rock song. Watch out!"
The duo shares a camaraderie that truly reflects in their songs. "I've known him since long and admired his songs right from Chronic Bachelor and Symphony. I'm a huge fan of his!" says Shaan, who named Deepak's studio, D Major. "At a time when there are reality shows dime a dozen and singers all around, Deepak hunts down voice tones that suit his songs."
Meanwhile, Shaan the composer is busy making the tunes of the Vineeth Sreenivasan-starrer to be directed by debutant director Lijin. "My next film after this will be a Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial," says Shaan, who composed the super hit songs of Vineeth's Malarvady Arts Club. The duo is also busy with the shows of their band, Malarvady Orkestra.
