A house in Ooty turned into a hospital for Mani Ratnam's film

The Ooty schedule of Mani Ratnam's Kaatru Veliyidai which stars Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari, is now complete. A source informs us that the place where the crew shot the film, was transformed in such a way that it actually resembled Kashmir. Karthi, Aditi, Delhi Ganesh and a few others shot their portions there. In fact, a lot of extras who were part of the sequences, were dressed in Kashmiri costumes to bring in the authenticity.The source says, 'The shooting was happening at a place which was almost 10-15 kms away from the town of Ooty. A creepy-looking house had been turned into a hospital by the team. This is where an injured Karthi is brought in for treatment in the film. The actor, who plays a pilot in the movie, was seen without a moustache for the scene. Aditi, who plays a doctor, comes there to visit him, and Delhi Ganesh essays the role of her father.'
