A gangster saga for Bobby Simha's next!

's, next. The film is touted to be a

gangster

saga, which will feature Simha in a different role. While Rajeshwar has written the script, screenplay and dialogues, Vikram will be directing the film. Says Vikram, "I started my career as an ad filmmaker and have done over 50 ad films. Appa came up with this interesting script that revolves around a gangster's life. And that's when I decided to direct it. We needed someone who could carry off the role and perform. Bobby Simha was our first choice for the role. I narrated the script to him three months ago. It is a very raw and rustic character and he really liked it."

A gangster film is not new for Simha. How different will this be? "Nobody's life journey is the same. In that sense, ours is a different one. The film revolves around a guy, who becomes a powerful gangster. But being one comes with its own pitfalls, right? So, the film isn't just about shootouts and killing. We also touch upon his life, the relationships that surround him and more," says Vikram. The team is finalising the rest of the cast and crew. They plan to begin shooting from February, 2021.
