A film with over 100 new faces

, who previously made the 2012 film Paari, has now completed shooting his next film, titled Madham. The film, which has around a 100 new faces in its cast, is a gangster drama, which will also involve family sentiments. ���My producer Harish Kumar gave me total freedom when it came to casting, and that is how I picked more than 100 new faces for the film. I was particular that the performances not be cinematic and feel as natural as possible. The artistes haven���t used any makeup and there is no song or fight in the film,��� says Rajni, who has cast an 82-year-old woman in a crucial role. ���This paati���s name is Bibi. He character comes in the second half and in fact carries the film from then on. She has done a very good job,��� he adds.

The film also has a romantic sub-plot, which has newcomers Vijay Shankar and Swaadishta. ���Swaadishta has actually played a small role in Mysskin���s Savarakathi,��� he reveals.
