A city-based crime thriller

The film, 8 Thotaakkal is yet another crime thriller on the block. The film, which is being directed by debutant Sri Ganesh, is in its post-production stage. Vettri and Aparna Balamurali play the lead roles in this city-based cop story.
Talking about the film, director Sri Ganesh, a former assistant to Mysskin, says, “The story revolves around a crime scene in they city which is investigated by a cop.Vettri plays the role of the cop. Also, the eight-gun shots that is shot in different places in the city also plays a key role in the film’s screenplay and hence the title 8 Thotaakkal.”
