‘60 Vayadu Maaniram’ slated to release on August 31

Actor Vikram Prabhu is teaming up with Prakash Raj and Samuthirakani for the upcoming Tamil drama ‘60 Vayadu Maaniram’, which is a remake of the Kannada superhit ‘Godhi Banna Sadharna Mykattu’. Recently, the makers released the theatrical trailer of the film, which received very good response from netizens.

As per latest reports, ‘60 Vayadu Maaniram’ is all set to hit the screens on August 31. The film will reportedly clash with ‘

Imaikkaa Nodigal

’ and ‘Naragasooran’ at the box office.

Interestingly, the project has music by none other than maestro Ilaiyaraaja and is expected to release later this month. Reportedly, the film revolves around a young man, who is in search of his missing father, who suffers from Alzheimer. ‘Godhi Banna Sadharna Mykattu’ won both critical and commercial success when it released in 2016.

‘60 Vayadu Maaniram’ is being produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu of V Creations and is directed by Radhamohan of ‘Mozhi’ fame. If reports are to be believed, ‘60 Vayadu Maaniram’ is expected to good response at the ticket window.
