' completes 25 years today. The hit film directed by

KS Ravikumar

hit the screens for Diwali on November 2, 1994 alongside Kamal Haasan's 'Nammavar'.

The film starring Sarathkumar, Meena and Kushboo in the lead roles became a blockbuster among 1994 Diwali releases and completed a 175-day run at the box office. The star actor took to his social networking page to thanks the fans for their wishes today and also thanked the films director, producer and his co-stars.



Sarathkumar won both the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actor and Filmfare Award for Best Actor - Tamil for his performance in the film.
