Udhayanidhi Stalin is set to deliver his next film as a lead, and the film titled 'Maamannan' is gearing up to release on June 29. The promotions for the film are on, and Udhayanidhi has been busy promoting his next release. During the latest interaction, Udhayanidhi opened up about his shelved project under Kamal Haasan's production, and the film was supposed to have a screenplay sketched by the successful director Vetri Maaran. But as the actor-turned-politician Udhayanidhi opted to concentrate more on his political career, it was a costly miss by Udhayanidhi Stalin.

'Maamannan' might be Udhayanidhi's last film as an actor, as he has decided to put a pause on his cinematic journey for the next three years. Udhayanidhi Stalin also stated that his decision on making a comeback as an actor will be decided based on his political position after 3 years.

Directed by Mari Selvaraj, 'Maamannan' will be a political drama, and the film has Udhayanidhi Stalin, Vadivelu, Keerthy Suresh, and Fahadh Faasil in the main roles. AR Rahman has scored the music, and the different sets of songs from the composer are performing well on musical platforms. Meanwhile, 'Maamannan' has received U/A from the censor board, and the film's reservations are now open across locations. 'Maamannan' will also be released along with multiple dubbed versions, and Udhayanidhi's film is set to have a great start at the box office.
