Raj Kiran's actual name was Mohideen Abdul Khadar, and he was known as Asian Khadar in film circles during the 70s. In 1987, he launched his production company and titled it Red Sun Art Creations. Then he changed his name, and he opted for
Kiran (rays of the sun) and prefixed Raj.
Comedian Vadivelu was launched in his film 'En Rasavin Manasile'. Rajkiran's debut directorial,
Aranmanai Kili
(1993), was a blockbuster.
He has acted in over 25 films and his 25th film was under the direction of
