Poovaiyar revealed in a recent interview that he had pranked actor Vijay on the sets of 'Master'. Poovaiyar was rehearsing for a scene with an assistant director and he planned to prank Vijay by telling him that he had broken his leg. He has also acted like he is bleeding. Vijay panicked and asked him to take first aid. But Vijay soon realised that it was a prank.
Poovaiyar shot to fame after participating in a television reality show.Poovaiyar has sung several songs in various movies. He has also crooned along with Vijay in ‘Bigil’ which was composed by AR Rahman. The budding talent has also shared the screen space with Vijay in the recent action drama 'Master', which was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Poovaiyar is also said to be part of 'Thalapathy 65', but there is no official confirmation on the same yet.
