'Star' box office day 7: Kavin starrer collects Rs 15 crore in a week

The latest Tamil release 'Star' directed by Elan, starring Kavin, Lal, Aaditi Pohankar, Preity Mukhundhan, and, Geetha Kailasam among others continues to manage a steady performance at the box office. The film, which was released in theatres on May 10 has grossed Rs 15 crore at the box office in a week, as per a report by Sacnilk.

On day 7, the romantic drama managed to make Rs 61 lakh at the box office. The film is now running at a steady pace and slowly inching towards commercial success. The film features Kavin as a middle class boy who aspires to become a huge star after entering the film industry, The story shows the hardships and tough times he goes through though his father stands as a pillar of support.


The film has received a lot of positive reviews from fans, movie goers, and critics.
