Silambarasan starrer 'Pathu Thala' hit the big screens yesterday (Mar 30), and the film was released on over 1200 screens worldwide. Despite the mid-week Thursday release, 'Pathu Thala' opened with a good response from the audience. But when we look into the 'Pathu Thala' box office collection on day 1, Silambarasan's film has earned over Dhanush's 'Vaathi' opening day collection in Tamil Nadu.
