But 'Leo' needs another Rs 25 crore to surpass Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' to emerge as the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2023. 'Leo' now stands as the third highest-grossing Tamil film of all time after '2.0' and 'Jailer', and the well-hyped film has climbed to greater heights at the box office as expected.
In Tamil Nadu, 'Leo' has grossed over Rs 205 crore, and the film will emerge as the highest-grossing film in the state if it manages to hold its screens in the upcoming days despite the new Diwali releases. Meanwhile, 'Leo' is gearing up for an OTT release, and the film will be streaming in multiple languages on a popular platform starting November 21.
