The crime drama 'Kuberaa', starring Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna, received positive reviews and left a lasting impression on its audience. After a slightly subdued run during the weekdays, the film saw a rebound, earning an estimated Rs 4.25 crore on its second Saturday.
The film had collected Rs 69 crore in its opening week, with the majority of revenue coming from Telugu states, Rs 48.7 crore from the Telugu version alone. On Day 8, the film's second Friday at the box office, it earned Rs 2.5 crore, followed by the impressive Rs 4.25 crore on Day 9. As per trade analyst Sacnilk, 'Kuberaa' has now amassed a total collection of approximately Rs 75.75 crore at the domestic box office.
Theatre OccupancyAs per reports, 'Kuberaa' recorded an overall 42.24% Telugu occupancy on June 28. Morning shows began on a modest note at 19.30%, but the momentum picked up significantly through the day with evening shows reaching 47.22% and night shows peaking at 61.09%. In Tamil Nadu, the film maintained a respectable 31.31% occupancy. Morning shows stood at 17.33%, followed by afternoon at 33.01%, evening at 32.57%, and night shows concluding strong at 42.34%.
While the film did witness a dip in traction during mid-week, the weekend seems to be pulling audiences back into theatres.
