According to trade analyst Sacnilk, 'Idli Kadai' earned Rs 44.25 crore in its first week, with Rs 41.1 crore from the version and Rs 3.15 crore from the Telugu version. On its 11th day, the film brought in Rs 85 lakh, followed by Rs 1.50 crore on Saturday, taking its total collection in India to Rs 46.60 crore.

The film saw a gradual increase in audience numbers throughout the day, starting with 19.72 percent occupancy in the morning shows, which rose to 38.45 percent in the afternoon and 38.53 percent in the evening. The night shows performed the best, with a 58.48 percent occupancy rate.
